FF EAI Robotics Ecosystem Inc., a U.S.-based Embodied AI robotics company, announced that it has entered into a comprehensive strategic partnership with California Science and Technology University (CSTU) and Boston International Business School (BIBS), strengthening and expanding an existing collaborative relationship across robotics education, research, talent cultivation, and innovation. The strategic partnership was formally announced during FFR's deal closing event held in New York on October 26, attended by FFR EAI Device Business Group President Chris Chen, where representatives from all three organizations participated in a signing ceremony marking the next phase of cooperation.
The partnership encompasses several key initiatives, including strategic investment collaboration, joint development of robotics developer platform capabilities, operational support for CSTU's Boston campus, the planned establishment of the BIBS-FF-CSTU Joint Robotics Lab, and the development of new talent training programs designed to prepare students and developers for the rapidly growing embodied AI and robotics industries.
"This partnership reflects our commitment to building a comprehensive robotics ecosystem that connects technology innovation, education, research, and workforce development," said YT Jia, CEO of FF EAI Robotics Ecosystem Inc. "By bringing together industry and academic leaders, we aim to help cultivate the next generation of robotics and AI talent while accelerating innovation through collaborative research and developer engagement."
Under the MOU, FFR, CSTU, and BIBS will explore opportunities to jointly advance robotics education programs, support developer communities, and create pathways for students, researchers, and entrepreneurs to participate in the evolving embodied AI economy. The planned BIBS-FF-CSTU Joint Robotics Lab is expected to serve as a platform for interdisciplinary research, hands-on robotics development, and industry-academic collaboration.
"We are pleased to deepen our relationship with FFR and BIBS through this comprehensive strategic partnership," said Zhigang Qin, President of California Science and Technology University. "By combining academic resources, industry expertise, and innovation-driven programs, we believe this collaboration can provide meaningful opportunities for students and researchers while helping support the advancement of robotics technologies."
Professor Liya Rong, Dean of Boston International Business School, Co-Dean of the BIBS-FF-CSTU AI Robotics Institute, and Head of Operations for CSTU's Boston campus, said: "The convergence of artificial intelligence, robotics, and education is creating unprecedented opportunities for innovation. Through this partnership, we look forward to expanding collaborative research initiatives, strengthening academic-industry connections, and developing talent capable of contributing to the future of intelligent robotics systems."
The signing ceremony was witnessed by Professor Ugoji A. Eze, an international lawyer, AI and cybersecurity expert, and professor at the BIBS-FF AI-Robotics Institute. Professor Eze also participates in global policy discussions at the United Nations and has been an advocate for responsible innovation and international collaboration in emerging technologies.
The partnership is intended to further strengthen FFR's leadership position in robotics education by fostering collaboration across technology development, academic research, talent cultivation, and innovation ecosystems. Through these efforts, the parties aim to contribute to the advancement of embodied AI and robotics while preparing future generations of students and professionals for opportunities in the rapidly evolving sector.
