Novarc Technologies, the industrial Physical AI company reinventing welding automation for the global fabrication industry, announced it will showcase its latest Robotic Welding and Physical AI solutions at FABTECH 2026, taking place Oct. 21–23 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Demonstrations of the company’s latest technologies will be available at Booth #S40093.
At FABTECH 2026, Novarc will showcase robotic welding solutions that bring vision and intelligence to proven welding technologies. Powered by the industry’s leading Physical AI platform, these solutions enable truly adaptive welding, helping fabricators solve shop-floor challenges, stay competitive and keep pace with rising manufacturing demand.
“Reindustrialization and reshoring can't happen at scale without a step-change in fabrication capacity," said Soroush Karimzadeh, CEO and co-founder of Novarc Technologies. "From shipbuilding and data centers to energy and heavy equipment, fabricators face the same roadblocks: too few skilled welders, too few robot programmers, and too much part variability for conventional automation. Our NovAI suite is built on more than a decade of physical welding data gathered through almost a million hours of arc-on time, powering robots with vision and intelligence for truly adaptive welding. It retrofits onto the cells manufacturers already own, raising quality, consistency and throughput across a much broader range of robots, geometries and fabrication applications."
Novarc to demonstrate NovAI™ Autonomy and NovHub™ on Yaskawa and ABB Robots
At FABTECH 2026, Novarc will demonstrate NovAI Autonomy and NovHub on Yaskawa and ABB robots. NovAI Autonomy uses machine vision to adjust the robot’s path and weld parameters in real time.
On the Yaskawa YRC1000 robot, Novarc will demonstrate how Physical AI technology can autonomously evaluate root openings before the arc strikes, allowing the system to optimize the starting welding parameters.
“Yaskawa is dedicated to driving innovation and efficiency across heavy fabrication and industrial sectors,” said Doug Burnside, Executive Vice President, Yaskawa America, Inc. “Through this partnership, we are proud to deepen our engagement with Novarc to incorporate their Enterprise Welding Intelligence into our robotic platforms providing Customers with vision automation and adaptive welding which will provide enhanced precision to our Customers in the structural steel, heavy equipment, data centre, agricultural, mining, and modular construction industries.”
Novarc will also demonstrate how NovAI Autonomy brings AI-powered, real-time vision and adaptive control to ABB robots, automatically adjusting weld parameters for gaps, misalignments and tacks. NovAI Autonomy promises to increase ROI by reducing manual rework and compensating for part variations upfront.
“We are excited to partner with Novarc to implement their AI-Powered Adaptive Welding on our extensive suite of ABB robots providing welding automation solutions in automotive, light, heavy and structural industries,” said Joshua Williamson, Global Product Manager, Joining Technologies and Positioners, ABB. “Novarc’s welding intelligence enables vision and adaptive welding to autonomously adjust weld parameters in real time, which translates into significant benefits to our customers by reducing over welding, costly grinding and scrap.”
Novarc will also showcase NovHub at the booth, which transforms weld data into real-time data insight, centralizing weld video, process parameters, part traceability, and production timing in one platform. This allows fabricators and manufacturers to review weld history, investigate quality issues, monitor production trends, and make faster decisions with better visibility into welding performance.
SWR™-TIGMIG: Dual-Process Pipe Welding on One Platform
Novarc will exhibit the SWR™-TIGMIG, the dual-process spool welding robot that integrates TIG and MIG welding into a single platform.
SWR-TIGMIG is designed for fabricators who demand X-ray-quality TIG root welds with the speed and throughput of MIG. The welding robot sets a new standard for productivity and versatility in the pipe fabrication industry, enabling up to 4X productivity gains on dual-process welds. Integrating up to four positioners, it maximizes shop space while reducing operating costs.
“SWR™-TIGMIG helps fabrication shops overcome complex welding requirements that have historically limited productivity,” said Joel Armstrong, Director of Product Management, Novarc Technologies. “By combining two systems into one, welders can perform precision TIG root passes and seamlessly transition to MIG fill passes in under 30 seconds. Shops no longer need to choose between quality and speed.”
NovPlan™: Automated Offline Programming Software
Visitors to Novarc’s booth will also see live demonstrations of NovPlan, which transforms robotic welding programming from a costly, slow bottleneck into a fast, automated process. NovPlan generates weld paths directly from CAD, significantly cutting programming time and eliminating the need for specialist robot coders. By accounting for real-world conditions like part misalignment and automatically optimizing tool paths, NovPlan reduces rework, boosts first-pass yield and delivers up to 25X higher efficiency.
Reinventing the Cobot with AI Powered Adaptive Welding to Prevent Rework and Part Variation: the Miller® Copilot™ Builder with Blue IQ™ powered by NovAI™
Developed in collaboration with Miller Electric Mfg., the new Miller® Copilot Builder with Blue iQ, powered by Novarc’s NovAI technology, will also be unveiled at Miller’s booth #S29043. The Miller® Copilot Builder with Blue iQ, powered by NovAI is designed to help fabricators apply robotic welding to applications that have traditionally been difficult to automate due to part variation, fit-up inconsistencies, tack welds and the challenges associated with large, complex fabrications.
DWC: Turnkey Welding for Data Center Skids and Frames
Data center demand is surging, and fabricators can’t keep up with the skids and frames these builds require. Novarc is tackling that gap with the NovAI Suite and a new turnkey solution for data center skid and frame fabricators: the Data Center Welding Cell (DWC). At FABTECH, 2026, Novarc will show how NovPlan programs welds straight from CAD, NovAI Autonomy adapts to every joint’s fit-up, and NovHub tracks every weld. Together, they give fabricators a ready-to-run cell built to scale output with demand.
