Flourish Robots, a consumer robotics company building accessible robots for everyday life, emerged from stealth and introduced Flourish 1, a $3,555 home robot designed to take repetitive household work and mental load out of people's lives.
Owners can teach Flourish 1 a household task in 30 minutes using a mobile app — no coding required — by physically demonstrating the task with their phone. Flourish 1 can then repeat and schedule tasks including picking up shoes, clothes and toys; loading the dishwasher; wiping tables; watering plants; fetching items; and clearing a cat litter box. Pre-orders for the first 50 units open September 29 at $3,555, with deliveries beginning in December 2026.
"Human potential is the most precious thing we have, and a great amount of it gets consumed by repetitive household work," said Antoine Marcel, founder and CEO of Flourish Robots. "The point isn't a robot that picks up your shoes. It's what you get to do because you didn't have to. We want technology to give people more life — more attention for their families, their ideas, their ambitions and the things only they can do."
Antoine is a repeat founder with a prior exit and previously received funding from a Xavier Niel-backed fund. Families Fund, founded by Kartik Sathappan, led Flourish's pre-seed round.
"Too often, technology is used to distract kids so parents can do chores. Flourish does the chores so parents can play with their kids," said Sathappan. "We back founders building what families need today, and Flourish is using technology to give parents something they can never replace: time to be present with the people who matter most."
