Roboteon, a leading innovator in intelligent warehouse robotics software, announced that well-known former Gartner analyst Dwight Klappich has joined the company as a Strategic Advisor.
In his role, Klappich will work closely with Roboteon’s leadership team on a variety of areas, including go-to-market strategies to drive growth, building channel partnerships, and product marketing.
Klappich brings more than two decades of leading industry insight, having led Gartner’s research on warehousing and fulfillment technology.
More recently, Klappich launched and led Gartner’s research on intralogistics smart robotics, including identification of a new software category he termed “Multiagent Orchestration Platform” (MAOP), which refers to software solutions that enable heterogenous fleets of robotics and other automation to interoperate seamlessly.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Dwight to Roboteon,” said Gana Govind, CEO of Roboteon. “His deep understanding of the warehouse automation space, combined with his foresight into emerging technology trends, has long influenced the industry, and will be a great asset for our success."
Said Klappich: “I have been impressed with Roboteon’s technology and solution set and look forward to helping it reach its significant potential, building off its impressive foundation of solution architecture, innovative capabilities and deep domain expertise.”
