Mecademic Inc., a leading provider of compact, high-precision industrial robots, has raised CAD 21 million (approximately USD 15.3 million). This investment was led by Investissement Québec (IQ), with additional participation from Export Development Canada (EDC) and the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC).

The capital will drive product innovation and international expansion, while also funding the construction of a new corporate headquarters to meet increasing global demand. This expansion follows a period of robust performance in which Mecademic consistently outperformed the industry average. The company plans to capitalize on this momentum by investing heavily in the US, European, and Asia-Pacific markets.

Since 2022, Mecademic has transformed into a growth-oriented global company. The management team has been strengthened with the appointment of Dominique Jodoin as CEO and David Massé as CFO, who brings extensive strategic finance experience. The founding team continues to lead the core business.
