XTEND AI Robotics, Inc. a leader in software systems and Physical AI, announced that its Asia-Pacific subsidiary, Performance Rotors Pte Ltd, has received a purchase order valued at approximately $8.3 million from a defense customer in the region. The order covers multiple unmanned aerial systems, with associated ground control stations and accessories, and includes a first-year software update package for every system. The order reflects XTEND’s operating model as a multinational company with subsidiaries around the world, which works to expand its activity across international markets. This order was not included in the approximately $84 million AI Robotics segment backlog as of September 30, 2026, previously reported by the Company.
As part of the order, the customer has purchased a software update package for the systems, covering updates delivered through XTEND’s XOS operating system. For the first year, XTEND commits to updating the systems through XOS. The package includes ongoing software updates that may incorporate new intelligent capabilities, advanced analytics and AI-driven enhancements designed to expand the systems’ operational capabilities. Through XOS, these enhancements are designed to enable integration with additional applications, improve system performance and introduce advanced autonomous capabilities, with the goal of making the systems smarter, more capable and more effective over time.
The systems are compact, collision-tolerant unmanned aerial platforms designed for rapid deployment in complex urban environments. They are supplied with integrated imaging and encrypted communications, and are manufactured at Performance Rotors’ production facilities, part of XTEND’s regional XFAB manufacturing network.
“The software update package in this order reflects the model we believe in: systems that keep getting better after delivery, not hardware alone. We believe this is where the defense market is heading, and we are glad to support it with the systems and the software behind them,” said Aviv Shapira, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of XTEND AI Robotics.
