In 2024, many smart new energy vehicles (NEVs) have been unveiled in China, many of which are equipped with Huawei's smart car solutions. Dongfeng Voyah brand Voyah's MPV Voyah Dream is the first to be equipped with Huawei's ADS 3.0 smart driving system. Chang'an Auto's Deepal L07 uses Huawei's core smart driving solutions. In addition, Chang'an Auto's AVATR brand launched the new AVATR 12 last month, which continues to feature Huawei's comprehensive solutions.

In July, NEV sales in China surpassed those of fuel vehicles for the first time, proving that Chinese consumers are increasingly interested in electric and smart cars. Relying on Huawei's strong technical capabilities, the corresponding solutions have attracted great interest in the automotive field.

In terms of intelligent driving, Huawei's advanced driving system has been upgraded to version 3.0. It now integrates various sensors including lidars, cameras, and millimeter-wave radars. This cutting-edge system, combined with end-to-end intelligent driving algorithms, enhances the safety of manual driving, makes intelligent driving more comfortable, and simplifies the parking experience.

As for the intelligent cockpit, HarmonyOS allows drivers to use voice commands to control navigation, windows, seats, and other cabin functions. In addition, HUAWEI SOUND focuses on enhancing auditory perception with features such as “intelligent acoustics, intelligent sound fields, and intelligent ambience.”

Smart automotive optics is a scenario-based solution that integrates core optical technology with the automotive industry, advancing the industry's intelligence and connectivity. Currently, the smart automotive optics industry is characterized by innovative applications such as smart head-up displays, smart headlight modules, and virtual image displays in cars. Future developments may extend to scenarios such as optical connections.

Based on the concept of service-oriented architecture (SOA), Huawei Intelligent Digital Vehicle Platform (IDVP) has a highly centralized hardware architecture and a decoupled and layered software architecture. This enables automakers to realize true software-defined vehicles (SDV), providing users with highly personalized and continuously updated experiences. HUAWEI XMOTION, developed on the IDVP, offers native cross-domain collaboration, enabling full control of the vehicle body posture with six degrees of freedom for a safer, more comfortable, and superior driving experience. The HUAWEI TMS system uses an integrated heat pump solution with a self-developed nine-way valve, which supports 18 different operating modes.

Huawei’s Intelligent Vehicle Cloud delivers an unparalleled user experience with thoughtful services across the vehicle lifecycle, spanning interaction, maintenance, and security. These include intelligent interactions with digital keys, remote control, driving records, Yunkan, and Yunxi, as well as proactive maintenance and security services such as OTA updates, vehicle component maintenance, and remote diagnostics.

Huawei remains committed to being customer-centric, focusing on intelligent vehicle components to bring intelligence to every vehicle. With Huawei's continued investment and innovation in intelligent vehicles, more automotive companies are expected to join Huawei's ecosystem in the future. Together, let's create a better future!
