Massed Compute, a leading provider of GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) for artificial intelligence and high-performance computing workloads, today announced a strategic investment partnership with Digital Alpha, a digital infrastructure investment firm focused on scaling next-generation technology platforms. The investment will enable Massed Compute to significantly expand its AI cloud infrastructure footprint, support customer demand for cutting-edge NVIDIA accelerated computing, and deepen go-to-market alignment with Cisco.

The partnership provides an industry-leading model that enables the next generation of cloud infrastructure required for the largest and most sophisticated AI workloads. The access of up to $300m in equity and revenue share financing gives Massed Compute a powerful tool that allows the company to scale and meet market demand.

"Massed Compute is strongly positioned to meet growing demand from enterprises, data scientists, and Machine Learning engineers through their managed AI cloud solutions," said Kevin Wollenweber, SVP and GM, Data Center and Internet Infrastructure, Cisco. "Cisco is excited to help Massed Compute build this capability with our industry-leading Cisco UCS servers as the foundation of their AI infrastructure. By leveraging our expertise in secure, scalable, and high-performance computing for AI, Massed Compute is enabled to deliver powerful and reliable AI services to customers worldwide."

Massed Compute operates a high-performance AI cloud platform that provides enterprises, startups, and research institutions with instant access to production-grade GPU clusters. The company delivers reliable and flexible compute environments from Tier III data centers, supporting customers across three continents. Its proprietary automation stack and hands-on technical support enable users to spin up private cloud GPU instances in minutes, eliminating traditional barriers to AI development and deployment.

“Massed Compute is purpose-built to meet the demands of modern AI-native workloads,” said Sunny Smith, Co-Founder and President of Massed Compute. “This partnership with Digital Alpha and collaboration with Cisco unlocks the scale and momentum we need to accelerate customer onboarding and expand our infrastructure for enterprise AI deployments worldwide. We’re now positioned to move faster, support larger-scale rollouts, and push the boundaries of the modern AI-native cloud.”

The partnership is expected to catalyze several growth initiatives for Massed Compute:

  • Expanded AI Infrastructure Deployments – Supporting growing customer demand through the rollout of next-generation NVIDIA accelerated computing, including instances with NVIDIA Hopper GPUs, NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition, NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs, and NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs.
  • Enterprise and AI Developers Access – Enabling pay-as-you-go and contracted access to high-performance GPU compute capacity to meet the growing needs of generative AI and machine learning customers.
  • Joint Go-to-Market with Cisco – Leveraging Cisco’s Unified Computing System (UCS) solutions to build a secure AI factory. This will unlock the ability to offer enterprise customers managed cloud AI solutions and accelerate the development of sovereign AI Clouds.
  • Network and Storage Integration – Collaborating with PacketFabric for Network-as-a-Service provisioning and Cloudian for AI-optimized storage.

“Massed Compute exemplifies the next generation of cloud infrastructure providers—flexible, GPU-centric, and engineered for AI workloads from the ground up,” said Rick Shrotri, Managing Partner at Digital Alpha. “We’re excited to back a highly experienced, entrepreneurial team and partner with them to scale a secure, enterprise-ready platform that is critical to the future of AI.”

The collaboration reflects Digital Alpha’s focus on investing in strategic infrastructure platforms of the future, building on existing relationships with Cisco, and Digital Alpha portfolio companies PacketFabric, Qwilt, and Cloudian to capture product and market synergies.

As AI adoption accelerates across every industry, Massed Compute and Digital Alpha aim to bridge the infrastructure gap by delivering enterprise-grade compute capacity where and when it’s needed most.
